FCM is proud to be working with the creative team at the National Forest Adventure Farm as it unveils its newest scare attraction at Screamfest: a zoo full of zombies … what could possibly go wrong?

Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo, one of five scare attractions at Screamfest, is based on the weird and wonderful American road trip ‘tourist’ attractions – housing its own unique café and gift shop. Who needs to visit the world’s first museum dedicated to hammers, or see the World Biggest Ball of String, when Hillbilly Joe has real live zombies!

The new scare attraction includes a Zombie Basketball Game, complete with cheerleaders, a Zombie Wedding and a Zombie Santa in his grotto. Intrepid visitors will be taken round the zoo by Hillbilly Joe himself – but don’t expect everything to go smoothly.

Screamfest fans that cannot wait to see Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo can sneak a peek of the new scare in a new trailer that is now live on the attraction’s website.

Ivor Robinson, one of the two brothers who own National Forest Adventure Farm, said: “We’re always looking for ways to improve and update Screamfest, and give our customers something new and different to enjoy or endure. Our aim is to make Screamfest a great night out, filled with screams and laughter, and our new scare attraction, Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo, will be a brilliant addition.

“Our creative team has excelled itself this year and we love the whole concept; we know that fans of Screamfest will love it, too. I don’t want to give too much away about it, but be prepared: all is not what it seems when the loveable Hillbilly Joe takes you round his Zombee Zoo.”

Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo is just one of five uniquely themed and terrifying scare attractions at Screamfest, which takes place over 15 nights in October and November. Fan favourites from previous years will also return: the nightmare-inducing Insomnia; clown-crazy Freak Out, heart-breaking Love Hurts, and maize maze-based Dia de los Muertos.

New for 2019, to heighten the Halloween festival atmosphere, will be fairground rides, new sideshow and extreme performers, street theatre with performers including stilt walkers and fire jugglers, plus plenty of tasty street food and drink outlets, including a licensed bar.

At the finale of the Halloween extravaganza on Saturday 2nd November, visitors will also enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.

The night-time attraction starts on Thursday 10th October, and will be open for 15 selected dates until Saturday 2nd November. Visitors must be over 12 year of age and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, visit www.screamfest.co.uk
